The low profile half-shell encloses the trigger guard and slide, and is injection-molded with an infallible polymer to precisely fit your Glock 17. The parts holding the shell together are made of that same polymer, which is also used in handgun manufacturing. The shell is mounted to the backer at a single point, so the holster will mold more reliably to the body. Control the passive retention with a custom, included retention bar for a tighter or looser draw. The cant on the holster may be adjusted for the preferred angle, depending on where it's placed inside the waistband. As a modular system, the backer may be uninstalled without tools and the shell can be transitioned into any of the other available ShapeShift holster configurations.
